Brilliant video thanks for posting it 👍 it looks really awkward to get at? Would it make it easier removing the front seat? Or is do able but just fiddly with the limited space? Thanks anyway.

I have managed to change mine after ripping half my skin off my hand lol but one of the screws that keeps the resistor in place fell and have no idea where it went. Would anyone know what type they are and where to get them.

This task is much easier if you unplug the resistor before trying to take it out/ putting it back in.

Well I can only say thank you for your video it was very helpful and informative. Although the task of removing the screws on the resistor housing was an absolute nightmare of contortionism. Even ended up butchering a torx screwdriver to make it easier to at least get the bottom screw back in. I admitted defeat on the top one after I dropped it for the third time! Thank you again 👍

Here's a story: 2003 Corolla, I hooked up the jumper cables in reverse and blew the 100a fuse. Got a new one WITHOUT the holes in the legs (just like the old one) and replaced it, much easier because you can just pull it out and slide the new one down. But over time it shorts across the gaps and melts the plastic, breaks the connection and stops working. Replaced it again and again not knowing that the one I needed had holes in the legs and connected with 2 bolts like yours. Slightly more work but saved me a future headache or 10, thanks bro!!

Another thanks for the video. Just replaced mine. Boy was that a tight squeeze to get my hand in to get the module out. I even had to 3d-print a stub handle for the torx bit because there wasn't room for my 'standard' handle. Couldn't have done it without watching your video. Thanks again. And yes, I left out the top screw.

Thanks for the video. Just done mine and that's one awkward location and incredibly difficult to get out and back in. I couldn't get the top screw back in on refitting despite my best attempts!! Amazed I got it out. Working fine with just the bottom screw now holding it in place.

Is there 1 screw or is there another one from the other side? I got the one out that you did but there's another bolt head on the other side that won't budge. I broke a ratchet trying to get it out.

I had the exactly the same problem. I did the same thing while jump starting my car ... blew like 4 fuses. The fuse box under the glove box (RHD) may also have blown fuses. I actually first replaced one in the glove box which managed to get the car started. However, the power steering and dashboard was dead. Replaced the main fuse like you described and viola! Video was uber helpful because the plastic on these is harder then most bank vaults. We spent more time rangling with clips then actual job. AnyhowThanks for making this video 😊

I pressed the clutch pedal and then cable tied it down (use two ties) this gave ample room to get at the top screw although both were a git to get to.
