BRENDAN WAS TOO GOOD TO BE JUST A SHOWBAND SINGER HE WOULD HAVE MADE IT SOLO INTERNATIONALLY WITH THE RIGHT EXPOSURE HE WAS ALSO VERSATILE HE COULD DO ROCK N ROLL IRISH BALLADS LOVE SONGS Etc HE IS ALSO A FINE GENTLEMAN AND A FINE TROMBONIST THANKS FOR THE GOLDEN MEMORIES BRENDAN GOD BLESS AND PROTECT YOU... Always reminds me of the late "Bapty" Maher of Athy. This was a bit of a party piece of his. Memories also of dancing to the Royals in the 1950s while a student in Dublin.
