Thanks for the information. What's the way forward? What should ignorant farmers do. The government should protect it's people because I can't go to an agrovet and start reading all chemicals to find out the chemical components of most pesticides. We can't even be able to know which chemicals are poisoning who and what. This is a very serious issue that should find a solution as soon as possible. I have many neighbours who have died of cancer and many more are suffering from the same. I wish I could create this awareness in my village and give them a solution. They are dying slowly.

The rate at which Kenyans are reproducing is beyond our ability to sustain our production So don't play sjw here...create a petition that will help limit reproduction per woman
Hi actually we need it in our local channel adverts because not everyone has watch it in KZbin kindly

I have done some farming , you can't believe the amount of pesticides used esp with tomatoes ! I know one big tomatoes farmer who died of cancer , hard to prove it's the pesticides but I highly suspect it since he really disregarded safety wear during spraying and mixing ! God knows what were putting into our bodies !

funniest part..... our doctors or even african scientists.. they always learn.. they have never invented any medicine... they always say we are doing research, wasting alot of money during research but even if they come up with an idea however small it is.. they get rejected by FDA , yaani they don't have the power.. Indian doctors always do researches and by force they get approved as an alternatives medicines because they use herbals etc but African doctors their ideas are countable and never goes far, since wamekaliwa na gava... today wakipata solution ya corona they have to wait hadi waapproviwe its kinda serious but God shall intervene.. hasara sisi waafrika

a great doctor who has a freedom mind said... if a disease is brought by food, can be cured by food.. peaple who made blood pressure and diabetes diseases, I hope you dont have to say anything, last time FDA gave permissions for real medicinies that cure was the year 1901, all other medicines that are out there now.. might even cause you more diseases... anyways lemme not waste my breath because its of no use when people won't take an action.. our doctors has been brain washed.. they think the syllabus has been made by God.. they dont wanna hear anything except what they have been taught... that is why I am a natural doctor and I don't wanna get my brain corrupted by this fucking world where there is some people who affects your life indirectly, being controlled by people but you never know who... you feel you have freedom.. but you have no freedom.. you have freedom only when you are doing something silly... try to do sthg constructive and you shall see how many enemies you get on the way.. anyways you are in control of your life, always stand for the truth and preach the message that herbal medicines are way better than these other junks that we use

I was in Kenya last summer before the pandemic. I didn't know you had the same problem of the fumigation in the use to control pathogens by greedy farm owners. We should sign an international petition to stop the industries making this neurotoxin and carcinogen. It's time the world changes to organic.

Thank you for highlighting this issue. i have been singing the same song for about eight years and we still wondering where all this cancer is coming from.

The Biggest culprit is Roundup, hence the large number of cancer cases in kericho due to tea plantation. the uk banned this product ages ago but the US want because they are the the manufacturers

Count me in. Although, I would like to suggest you consider an online petition that is easier to sign. Secondly, is there like a twitter campaign that one may use to easily tag their MP?
@reneerenee36464 жыл бұрын
Ask your MP to support the pesticide petition in parliament. Engage them on Twitter, Facebook, or however you can. It is time we speak out for our rights and the rights of future generations. Time is running out and change starts with you. Learn more: www.routetofood.org/toxic-bus...

Beyond using the petition, creating an environment for farmers to access better pesticides at similar or better prices can reduce the problem by a marging.
