Sorry had to switch off; can't stand screaming kids especially in restaurants and on airplanes. Why do parents always think it's OK to impose their brood on people who only want a quiet life, pure selfishness!
@TravelInNoTimeКүн бұрын
Wow, who knew a family channel might feature kids? Shocking, right? I’ll be sure to tell them they weren’t supposed to exist because someone out there craves eternal silence. And hey, weren’t we all kids once? Unless, of course, you skipped that stage and arrived fully grown, blissfully silent and perfectly considerate of everyone’s peace. My bad for the pre-warning though-they were hardly screaming, but we wouldn’t want to disturb your utopian unselfish existence!

That looked great, I don’t venture out to 112 as I’m spoilt living in soi 88. Fish and chips is something that’s quite personal in my opinion, everyone has different taste. For me and in no particular order are the following: Le Pub Andreanna’s Siam Viking I always put a few drops of vinegar in the mushy peas as I find them too sweet otherwise. Also the rest of that menu looked excellent. Looking forward to the next Fish and Chips Friday 👍🏻

dunno but from how i see it , pattaya has an international airport , chiang mai has one too if they do hua hin they basicly have 3 of those 4 international airfields in one little corner of thailand the larger runways would be nice if airplanes need to divert because of problems at bangkok / pattayah airports though dont think making it an international airport would do mush good other that possiby flooding hua hin with tourists and change it forever intoo pattayah 2.0 its basicly the most away point in thailand from the reast of the continent if they build out the airfield in Ubon Ratchathani to become international instead they would have a better spread of their big airports and have a better divingboard from and intoo the countries next to it and all of the asian continent beyond on that side (laos vietnam cambodia china thaiwan phillipines probably only would add about an hour flight time from the western countries bangkok can do mainly outbound to the asian continent below (malasia singapore cambodia indonesia ) pattayah the indian countries next to it a little lower on the charth (myanmar sri lanka india ) and chian mai above (bangladesh bhutan nepal laos china korea japan ) it would create a bigger economy in the outer part of thailand too while leaving hua hin bangkok pattayah and chiang mai about the same they where planning on doing high speed raillinks too and that might be a better idea brings hua hin about two hours traveltime closer to bangkok and chiang mai should be doable in 4 to 6 hours , bangkok would likely become the hub for the travels outwarth by train
@TravelInNoTime11 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your take! You make some solid points though -Ubon Ratchathani going international could definitely spice things up for the region, and let’s be honest, Hua Hin turning into Pattaya 2.0? Nobody wants that and nobondy asked for that! 😅 But hey, what’s your take on the high-speed rail? Would you trade airport chaos for a 2-hour zip to Bangkok? 🚄 I think we would...I love a good train!

I’d rather deal with the bus ride from bkk and not have Hua hin ruined by over tourism,. If I lived here I’d be pissed if this went through
@TravelInNoTime12 күн бұрын
Good point. The bus ride isn’t that bad in the short term compared to the long term side effects of mass tourism expected to Hua Hin
@neilmorton822012 күн бұрын
I think it would be a great thing but I also understand some of the pessimists. For me it would be amazing to jump on a flight from Hua Hin to international hubs would be a massive boost for the area.

This same news about the Hua Hin Airport was also breaking news. 5 years ago when i lived there. Hard to really believe with the infrastructure of Hau Hin. Even a good water supply in Boi Fai was not reliable. Rubbish collection was no got good. The roads are not good. I hope it all goes well for Hua Hin. I love it there.
@TravelInNoTime13 күн бұрын
Wow! So big promises come round in 5 years cycles🤣 Infrastructure building is slowly but surely getting there. We see some good movement on the telephone wires so maybe it’s baby steps for the airport! What do you think?

HuaHin has amazing infrastructure, our roads are wonderful, modern by any standard . Rubbish collection rubbish is collected.1 power cut in last 3 years, never a problem with water dont believe you ever been there ;) dont worry many responders are in the same boat tbh.
