WOW...NICE FISH YOU CATCH BUDDY. My biggest pike on RIVER...30 lbs 4oz....41 inches LAKE...42lbs... 51.75 inches(130cm roughly) caught last year. That's in 40 years of fishing From northwestern Canada and my igloo on the mountain.

Congrats on the thirty plus pike mate. Just watched your wels vid good quality contet. My go to early season catfish bait is 4/5 lobworms popped up a foot to 18" with a 15-20mm cork ball, not totally catfish selectived but a winner early season. Cheers brad

I'm old enough to remember the gravel pits being worked. Fly fished it around 15 years ago, caught a few but didn't have a chance against the Cormorants, must have been 30 permanent residents.

How long would that fish be approximately? Pike culture is so different over the pond compared to in Canada, you guys target those big euro pike like we target Muskies in North America! Your pike are built so different as well, they're so fat compared to Canadian pike. Amazing video

I'm 58 and have 30 years PIKE ANGLING EXPERIENCE, IVE BEEN CHASEING A 30 since ,I had my Pb in 1998 ,28lb 10 Oz from ,A Still water ,I prefer River Fishing for any SPECIES ,I HAVE HAD RIVER PIKE TO 27 LB 4OZ , and I know 1 day I will nail 30 ,When you got your Big ESOX I don't mind admitting ,I welled up for you , Because I know the ,time and patience you put in,and how hard it is ,so Every Credit ,!! I think the BRITISH RECORD ,SHOULD HAVE 2 LEAUGES ,1 for River ,and 1 for Still waters ,don't know what you think ,

Nice canal. Fished it many times. Alot of the perch got wiped out a few years ago with a disease. Some nice carp and tench to be had near the pub in summer months. Keep up the good work with yours videos 😊
