I think you found a spot to watch the trains. I haven't been to Elk Grove recently, but that's the thing I remember the most about being there! I went often to visit a friend who lived there and we would hear the trains pass by from her house.

I loved seeing the Aquarium of the Pacific since I have never been. You may have convinced me that I need to plan a visit soon. That gelato spot was super cute and all the creations were amazing. Thanks for sharing your vacation.

It's a very nice aquarium, it's more medium sized versus larger ones like Monterey but the beach is actually warm in Long Beach. That gelato place was such a gem!

Your son capture some great videos! We had a similar experience with crowds at an aquarium in Oregon. I think the summer camps bring them for field trips.

Your video is amazing. Just out of curiosity for planning purposes. How long did your clif winery tasting last and what time did you schedule your next tasting for?

Thank you so much! We were at Clif for about 1.5 hours and we scheduled our next tasting 2 hours after the first one started. Just be mindful that the valley is pretty spread out. St Helena and Calistoga are close to each other but other areas like Napa (city), Rutherford, Yountville, etc... are a bit further.

Oh definitely do Folsom! Paddle boarding in the late afternoons, hiking trails, good food and COFFEE! Unique shopping experiences in Old Folsom, the prison gift shop! Lol

Hello Ashley! I just found you by searching local food. Solvang is definitely on my bucket list! My grandmother used to travel down there a lot when she was younger. Do you know about the BIG Ukrainian rally that's happening on the 24th at the Capitol at 7pm? I volunteer for Sunflower Society who holds rallies on the 24th of every month. This one will be big with lots of culture and celebrating Ukrainian Independence day. Just a fun event celebrating one of the largest communities in Sacramento. Free of course! :)

I love solvang but ugh, the fact that everything closes so early is a bummer. i love walking around in the evenings and i remember seeing like 3 places open, max haha and omg the ableskivers are sooo good! its like a pancake/donut hole
