It’s on hinges as it slide. Does it disappear? Do you say open sesame? Then he saw the test flight and he says that he knows that a pilot is in it but he never discusses the door. After watching this video I can say that he’s a genuine man who cares deeply about the community and people. I’m sure if a stranger approached this man asking for help, he’d do all that he could. It makes me feel good that we have people like him who sincerely care about others and has a logical outlook on what’s best for the people and county. His heart is in the right place and I also appreciate his kindness towards animals. He’s a good man with great intentions and deserves a chance.

I first met Jose when he was on the Planning Commission. As a local journalist, I was impressed with his honesty and candor. It's been an honor to get to know him over the years. His growth in his service to the public has been wonderful to watch. He deserves another 4 years on the city council.

Great job, Amy. In elections, we voters often find themselves voting for a candidate that we know little or nothing about. It's a problem with representative democracy. We often end up voting for strangers. Thanks for doing this interview. Those that take the time to watch this video will have a better idea of just who Will Wadleton is. He's certainly more than "just a handyman."

State audits are public records, the people of the state are entitled to it. The state has training for all fair staff including CEO’s, the public has access to those training too. They offer them online training and in person training. They are constantly having zoom training too, last one was a series that stated this April. They have always had training. Also in the request of the CEO the state will go to fairs and train them in person. The CEO is a paid employee, they are expected to perform. ~A fish doesn’t get an applause for swimming. It’s unacceptable to take “a little for themselves” Joanne is part of the problem, she failed to protect public funds, 2x. Would she be singing the same song if the public came forward with a lawsuit to recover those funds? She can be held legally responsible for the funds.

Wasn't Jen McGuire an employee with certain rights to confidentiality? Weren't those rights completely violated when an unnamed individual(s) posted the CDFA's report on Facebook, and then it appeared in the Ventura County Star? I read the audit and glaringly missing were the actual figures for total profit generated during McGuire's tenure. Parsons clarifies that in this interview. According to Parsons, when McGuire started in 2018, there was $5000 in the bank, and last year the fair generated $1 million dollars, with $600k currently in the bank. References were made throughout the audit to the State's compliance manual. At the very least, while doing the fairground's books, the State should be providing basic annual training on maintaining compliance to its manual to outlying rural fairground employees and boards, either in Sacramento and/or via Zoom. This would help build teams instead of breaking them down. My money says, the State didn't budget for annual audits or training and didn't pay attention to the Tri-County Fair until they saw the $$$. Perhaps speculation will cease when the entire story comes to light.
