That is not a Summit 1 stem or display panel. But the frame is right. The display looks more like it’s from a discover
@eightwheeladventuresКүн бұрын
Ah good catch yes my father had the stem changed out for something that made the bike more comfortable to ride and also the display changed to one on that orientation so that he could see it with his polarized sunglasses.
@909KodakКүн бұрын
@ that’s interesting. I have a Summit 1 also. I may have to look into that display. Does it use the same buttons pad? Does it work with the Summit software update? For comfort I put a Deity 80mm rise bars and a Ergotec high bass stem on mine. I have the large frame it is 2” longer.
@eightwheeladventuresКүн бұрын
@909Kodak It works exactly the same way apparently. I'll ask him about the update and report back.
@eightwheeladventuresКүн бұрын
Yes the screen is one from a Discover he had the bike shop swap it out when he bought it.

I bought one a month ago and I love it. This tool makes it so much easier to get proper air pressure in my MTB tires that have the pain in the butt Presta valves…The Presta is an unfortunate legacy of skinny wheeled road bikes! 😡

The 2022 Roscoe 7 in this exact color was my first bike, and I've been riding it hard for two years now. In the first year, I upgraded to new pedals and grips. Recently, I scored a great deal on a Fox 34 fork, and I'm also ordering a new 4-piston front brake since I’ve been tackling more intense trails. I’ll stick to just replacing the rear brake pads for now. My rear tire has noticeably more wear than the front, so I might add a replacement to my to-do list. I really love this bike and often get compliments on it. I feel lucky because I had no clue what I was doing when I chose it two years ago! If anyone is considering a trail bike, the Roscoe is definitely worth a look-especially with the insane sales they’ve got going on right now.
