Price is too high for the mileage, been looking around for a while. Can get into a 2020 Denali Duramax with same mileage for $49,999. Pretty truck though.

I have that trucks bigger sister, same color 283 4 sp grandpa bought new in Nov of 65 still has original selling dealer sticker on each side. Have protecto plate with grandpas name/address bone stock except for dual exhaust and dual line brake master cylinder upgrade and electronic pick up coil/module in stock distributor 99,xxx miles on it has towing style mirrors. Replaced split rim wheels with aluminum slots.

I have a question, I had mistakenly bought a 2024 LS for a total of $28K. I paid it off on cash. I would like to trade in for a 2024 LT, my car has 65 miles on it and it’s a week old. Do you think it’s worth the extra money plus my car for a AWD LT or a LS AWD? Thanks

Personally, I would always choose an LT over and LS, so Yes it would have been worth the extra money. Hopefully you are dealing with a good dealership wherever you live. I annoy management when someone will ask for an LS by saying, "Are you sure?" ~ Kent

This vehicle gets very good gas mileage ...I work for a dealership and i had to do a dealer trade about 1.5 hrs away and it didn't burn a quarter tank of gas. It gets 354 miles to a whole tank of gad. I was driving it at 77 to 84 mph. It drives very good and I am thinking about buying one.....just not sure if I want AWD or FWD either activ or RS...

I had a 2016 Silverado z71 off road, 5.3 v8, had it for almost 6 years, nothing but issues with the transmission, cylinder deactivation bullshit, I traded it for a 2022 colorado v6, no cylinder deactivation or start stop bullshit, 7000 lb tow rating, it's not 4x4, but I only needed it once in my Silverado, trucks need to be trucks, period, no more cylinder deactivation bullshit and start stop bullshit and transmission issues

Thanks for chiming in on your 2016 Silverado. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with that truck. Your local dealership must not have taken good care of you. You can thank the federal government and the EPA for all of the cylinder deactivation mandates on automakers which would be better than trolling a family owned business. Have a nice day. ~ Kent

@concordiachevrolet66901 the dealership rebuilt the transmission twice under warranty, before that it was flushed, computer rebooted, you name it, they did it, as soon as the extended warranty expired, I traded it

@@woofman4796 So you were taken care of. We live in a fallen world and things do break. Everyone probably has a similar story. My personal horror story involved a 1987 Chevy Sprint air conditioner compressor. I did get over 200,000 miles out of it over time though.

I had a 2012 Avalanche with AFM. It bent a lifter at 75 mph. Dealership fixed it. The mechanic came into the waiting room and said my particular year model could be programmed to turn off AFM and the truck would be a dedicated V-8. I said let's do it. Never had another problem with it. Glad I don't have that stop start crap at relights. I traded in my Avalanche for a Nissan Frontier Pro 4x in 2020 and I love it. It's a naturally aspirated v-6 3.8 liter with old school analog dash and a bad ass stereo with xm and CD player. I'm keeping my truck till the wheels fall off. Paid 31200 out the door. Same truck today MSRP is 51 k.

@musicgroopie1 I bought a range technology plug in module for my Silverado to keep it in v8 mode all the time, I had the transmission rebuilt twice at the dealership, after the extended warranty expired is when I traded it, we are looking at the nissan frontier as well, I had a '95 frontier, got it new, I loved that little truck, 5 speed manual, but it was a single cab and we needed a bigger vehicle then, our kids were little

I shared your question with out body shop tech, he told me that two holes are drilled into the plastic part of the bumper/grill area for a GM front license plate holder. I hope this helps. ~ Kent

There is a handle that will cause the second row seats to pop up which is hard to show when one is filming with one hand.

I have this model in crimson red metallic. Other than the recall for the emissions; I haven’t had any problems. It’s a great option as opposed to higher priced cars that are the same size or smaller.

I just bought a 2024 Trax LT, and as a daily commuter that does well on freeway on ramps, it's perfect. If you don't need something huge, trust me, this one's perfect. Test drive one, and you'll see.

This is pretty much just what I've settled on as a more budget friendly choice. Sure, I'd love a higher trim with the better audio system and nicer seats, but I'm also not overly keen on the fully digital speedo display -- I'm old school gauges. I also actually kind of like the 1RS dash trim too, just more contrast. And yes! There's nothing like getting in on a cold snowy morning and sitting in a warm seat and grabbing a warmed steering wheel. As I have lower back issues, it's sometimes just nice to turn that seat on and it actually does help. Kent, we just received the first LT in that Marina Blue to reviewed almost 2 weeks back -- what a beautiful color! I'd love to see it on an RS, but don't think I can wait for one to show up on the lots.

@@concordiachevrolet66901 Just traded in my 2023 Maverick for one just like this, but with black bowtie package. Beautiful car! Rides nicely, performance isn't what the Maverick offered, but for my daily commute it feels like there's little difference most of the time. More comfortable, and I like having a real shifter again. Sure, I might miss the AWD in the midst of a winter storm, but I'm saving a significant amount of money each month, and getting even better fuel mileage. And get this, I work at a Ford dealership! It's the nicest looking color on the entire lot.

This has everything i want but at $46-$48k...it's simply not affordable. Dealers around still have lots just full of new 2023's and it's almost May 2024 now. And the greedy dealers STILL want full msrp...they won't budge. They can just sit and rot for all I care.
