The town is still full of dark energy and black hearted people...the song 'Black Mountain Blues' could have been written about Dryden imo...my advice? Drive through Dryden and don't stop

So nice to see. Spent lots of my life in Roblin. My late Grandparents lived here for many years after they sold their farm. Still have family there. My Mom went to Goose Lake High School but was born in Dauphin. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

As young Black Men starting to Travel...we were warned to stay away from Mullins. Unless we were traveling with a large armed group. @1:02 - No SC Town would be complete without a Huddle House.

I spent my teens here. It's been a while since I've stalked my old town. What I find striking is how much taller the trees are. They could almost be 2x the height I have them in my head. I was rooting for you to find the community (rec) center but I don't think you did. The church, which I never attended and the public school which is now apparently the legion. So, you're allowed to drink in the grade 7;and 8 classroom. That would be a trip.

You should have turned towards Winnipegosis. You could have went to Swan River then North to Mafucking.

Came to Gananoque when i was 18 in 1982....it was probably about the best time of my life..coming from another neat place in Ontario,Wasaga Beach i was always asked what brought me here...a man of course...he is gone now and the ghosts of a lifetime ago haunt these streets making this a tough watch...but i would not have changed it for the world...im considering going back home but these past 40 yrs have produced children and grandchildren so my life is here now...this is a beautiful reminder of a bygone era xo thank you for this :)

Thanks for this. I must get out more. I have not been down there in a while. Although at this time of year you have to pick your days.
