what a perfect conclusion to a story that ended up being more thought out than its precedent. it kind of blows me away that a thing like this can exist based off of the comic thats absorbed so much of my life. it was so cohesive! at least, more than i initially thought it to be. a lot of was reading like one huge cope for why homestuck ended the way it did, the epilogues, and the beyond canon continuation. im including this in my plot summarization because i wanna point out how much i love the ideas displayed near the end. especially the alternate final battle for the fight sounds like such a stellar alternative to what we got. and a lot more thematically rewarding. also karkat and dave were honestly the perfect pair for this comic. i like how karkat had the chance to have an arc! something that got wrote off again and again in the source material. im just to the MOON with homestuck fan adventure: karkat goes to a convention.

This felt like one of those video games where you unlock the "true" ending after completing all of the normal routes first.

Having that prize swiped out of your grasp at the last minute, after having painstakingly coordinated a dozen other players to beat the game, would be agonising.

sorry for bad english in advance actually good game design imo, since sburb is a team game (kinda) IF your team progressed all at the same time, you'd have to get along with your server player so they build up your home up to the second gate, then their server player would essentially become yours, so you'd have to get along with them, and after that it would happen again EXCEPT if you didn't help progress/survive/get along with your client, they can choose NOT to help you progress, essentially punishing you for not being a team player, at least in 4 player sessions
