Shew never do that with a trap, if that thing would of snapped, yikes. Put something on the strap to help deflect it if it does snap.

how to fix rotten poles: saw off rotten bottom, use brick, stone, concrete to make a new base for the rest of the pole. change out 1 pole at a time, jack it up if needed 😉

I got my 16x40 a couple months ago. I was so happy and pissed at the same time. The guy that delivered mine put a hole in it. They did come out and fix it and I was really happy again but when I get my next one I don’t want the same guy delivering it

When we got our tractor, we were initially going to get a 3039R, but wound up getting a better deal on a 5045E. Was juggling between the 3 and 4-series machines, then looked at the prices on and figured if we are going to spend the money, might as well get something bigger that will work for years without needing to upgrade. It has been a good machine thusfar; only issue we had to have the dealer look at was a grease fitting that the factory didn't install correctly. Which post-hole digger did you wind up with? We got the PHD300 and it has been great so far.

I’m not sure about the post hole digger. I just got the one they had. I’ll look next time I’m at the homestead

Really nice tractor. I'm a kubota guy, but your problems have nothing to do with brand or paint color. Sometimes these things just happen. Too bad you had two things up on day one.

Thank you. Yes my dealer has been great. And thankfully I’ve been issue free for approx 35hrs now.

Dealer support really is more important than you know. I used to have a re-badged brand of tractor that was bought for a really good price. But every break down I had resulted in about 3 months of down time waiting for parts. Also, really nice set up you got with the tractor.

Congratulations on ya'lls new tractor it's sweet sucks that you had problems first day it don't make no difference what brand you buy people that put them together are only human they screw up and got to much electronic crap on them. Hopefully you're good to go now for half million hours. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy ya'lls new tractor

Thank you. So far I’ve had zero issues passed day one. It’s been great. I’ve got the backhoe attachment now and that is a lot of fun.

You will need a trailer. Now that you have a tractor, your brother in law, sister, cousin, uncle or best friend will want you to bring it over to do some work. It is like owning a pick up. Welcome to tractor ownership.

None of that should have happened on the first day. I would have expected better.

Nice video. I recently got a 4044R also. Mine had transmission oil leak, and got split at only 3 hours of use and then split a second time at 16 hours. Seem quality control is severely lacking on these.
@thedaileyhomestead2 жыл бұрын
That’s awful. Thankfully I haven’t have any other issues. I have 35-ish hours on the tractor now with no issues. I hope your dealer can fix the issue
