I have a 1984 rabbit with a swapped Jetta mk 3 motor and transmission. I have noticed my fuel pump or accumulator is leaking gas. It’s right in front of the spare tire well under the car. It doesn’t look covered. Did the past owners replace it with a mk 3 fuel pump or would I be able to keep the stock one? Is a little leak caused by needing tighting or replaced?

Brilliant, many thanks for this, I have a tiny leak, I thought I had no gasket at all, I’m guessing it’s solid and brittle like yours, not soft, cheers, I’ll try a new gasket/seal.

I worked at a shop in LA called I. Martin Imports and we had a bevy of amazing bikes in stock, one of my favorites being the ORT. Such a cool and rare bike! I still have yet to see one of the EC style frames in person

Really cool vid! I love your collection!! It’s similar to mine and I’ve had a few in common. I’ve a MXZ (in black, from the following year. I do prefer the grey fleck stone paint) along with two Haro Extremes, steel and alloy. I’ve an aluminum Alien too. Would love to see a review on that Titan half-track and your bud’s Valkyrie.

What is the tool you are using to open the free hub body? The one that fits into the two notches. After a week of struggle I managed to get the cassette off, and are now trying to figure out how to get the hub open.

I used to watch this when I was in sixth grade in late 2007. I don’t recall how or why I came across these videos of vans jumping and off-roading, but it was intriguing, exciting and enjoyable. Reliving old times, turning to my inner child. Thanks for having this video here.

I picked up one of these Kona humuhumu like yours recently and wanted to put a rear v-brake on it and I just noticed it doesn’t have the v-brakes mounts on the frame ! I think it’s an older coaster brake model but I’m assuming they must have made them with and without the v-brake mounts, that’s a shame. I guess there’s no way to to set up a rear v-brake ? I could probably do a front one if the forks have a mounting hole or swap forks.

If you ever decide to part with this…. I had one when they were new. I worked all summer to buy it and then rode it for a year before the head tube cracked… the bike shop replaced my frame with a Haro Extreme, never built it back up and lost the Nishiki. So if you want it to go to a good home, there’s few who want a good one more than myself.

Who would want to survive such a crash if your body is still badly injured, your back is broken, your limbs don't work or you've suffered a terrible head injury (or several of these)? Smart car, stupid choice.

I have a 82 mk1 VW pickup, 1.8L petrol. I'm giving a refurb on the engine because the 1.8L replaced the original diesel. Having issues with broken connections etc from a hasty engine installation. Broken CIS air box - -> to a round bottom Volvo air box. We need to message. Buy and trade as well. Big time mk1 petrol guy here.

The first pair with the curved legs are worth an unusual amount of money. I mean, all of them are worth a considerable amount of money and are unusually rare, especially in the condition they are in. They look as though they are all unused… The curved pair in particular, if I’m not mistaken, only a handful were ever made…

Nice presentation. I have a 1989 Kestrel MX-Z I recently purchased, but it is missing the rear derailleur/dropout hangers on both sides of the chainstays. Also missing the front derailleur hanger bracket. Does anyone know where I can get originals and/or correct replacements. What are the appropriate model parts/names? Thanks in advance.
