Wow ... I had the gold speckled colour, but otherwise exactly like this back in the day. I love that car; I made the mistake of trading it in for a 66 Mustang.

Clean 6 spoke. Over bore. You can hear the bauble of 3.0L Only reason why I like it is the motor laughs when it's coming down. Warm up it has a nice deep hum. Perf my 2.8 i has a quiet hum smaller laugh and clean per when it's warmed up thanks Z garage.

Thing is, V8 swaps in these are generally "front-mid engined" like the Dodge Viper and as such can deliver crap loads of traction even through a stock r200 open diff

I loved the z cars they actually won Le Mans with a bad water pump overheating and still won but was disqualified and had to give up first place judges said the loss of the water pump gave it more horsepower than what was allowed for weight of car but to me she was still the winner 🏅

Back in the 1960s it was the Ford Lotus Cortina GT and then in the 1970s it was the Datsun 510. I love them both.

built a look alike BRE 510 around 74. same paint as the BRE race car, flares, these wheels, custom aluminum dash & gauges, unfortunately poor so the engine was stock. sold it to the local Nissan dealer who displayed it out front. wide tires were hydroplane city.

The cockpit view is intense, this is rad! Still want to want to watch this Z race in person, missed it twice already. Too a speedy recovery though!
