I always liked this part because the lyrics hint that six was once a relatively normal girl. Like most kids she experienced nightmares, but she was mostly unbothered by them until one night when she had a nightmare that kept getting worse before dragging her into this new realm.

I believe Mono's older self was actually trying to keep his younger self from destroying Six's comfort item, because that's why Six 'betrayed' him (I don't believe it was betrayal because he broke their comfort item, and that goes very long ways if you have trauma)
