I dont know much on comics and what there worth but just as an outsider looking in, i would think that alot of those comics that are very old and not in the best condition wouldnt be worth a whole lot. Is that an accurate statement or is it the other way around?

In short the collection was quite valuable, but if they were all mint mint it would've been worth a nice house in rural Kentucky. Hope that helps

If you haven’t sold that collection yet look into grading for those comics, either CGC or CBCS a little more money and time you can make much more off that collection. I haven’t gotten past the Tales to Astonish box and I’m drooling. Great find

I’m a comic book dealer in the UK & if I had all those books I’d be able to retire on them, don’t sell them on Whatnot you won’t get what they’re worth. Grade the books & check FMV for them, if it’s worth it slab then clean, press & slab & list them for what they’re worth…….Those books are a retirement fund!!!!

Maybe you're the guy that can finally help me out ..nothing silver age or terribly valuable btw... My books were almost all destroyed by mice, what I could salvage I did, maybe 1 long after 45-50 total. There was one run that I still had, it remained in my stuff for years. At some point, being a full time single Dad, someone decided to rummage through my storeroom and take one particular run. FAUST. I can't find them to reobtain. I don't need super high grade books,mine were mid grade at best. Id just really like to have them back. My stepdad passed in October and they connect to a huge bonding moment and personal memory above all. Appreciate any even half hearted look dude..I know that's a big ask with that amount of stuff.

the Beast comics you had are super cool.... he was grey in the issues you have and was later turned blue, cause it was easier during the printing of the book to print blue over grey

Ahhh...this is all the stuff I collected as a kid in the 70s...the comic books mostly.I had 20,000 comic books in my collection.later in 1993 I had my own comic book store which lasted 3 years until playstation came along and kids flipped over to that.I recognize all the comics in the video.Those Beast comics were drawn by "Gil Kane" one of the art greats.I still dabble in comics on and off by buying and reselling.There is a good market for all comics from the 70s and older.

If it was me, I would hire a full scale team to go through then list these boxes item by item. Huge job sure! But this gold mine of biskets needs some proper expert handing to not only catalog it all, but to flip it too.
