Screw bill Berilko. I want a song about Rod Langway.

I grew up in Kingston, not far from Gord Downie. I was not the biggest Hip fan then. But now as I get older I am starting to appreciate them more.

To be honest I never knew Alex good play like that. He’s more of a chordal style soloist. This really rips and the note choices are perfect

I was a freshman in high school in 1981 with my crappy foam headset and a Sony Walkman listening to this for the first time. Still my favorite album because of all the memories it brings back. Not a bad song on that album.

Agreed. Also, Silent Running by Mike and the Mechanics is a good one to add to such a playlist.

This song tells the story of falling for someone and left heartbroken. Every time I listened to it I wanted to hear the story again and again ...❤

Many years later and I still can’t decipher the opening announcement and end lyrics. But I always thought that the first 5-6 tracks of this album were some kind of abandoned concept album about a train journey. This track is the initial excitement of leaving…Nine Lives of Miss MIDI/You and the night is the train pulling into a sad and deserted train station in the early hours of the morning…wish I could ask Michael Sadler about this album!
