How can i split the case without damaging the bearing ir the crankshaft

With a press. Bearings inside the crank shouldnt become an issue using this method, but i do advise changing it if it has more than 20k km on it or if it has any signs of failure on it (cracks, etc.). Also advise changing the case bearings (they are like 30 bucks (kit includes 2x bearings and "semerings" which are like seals in english i think.

I did replace my bearing today and dont ever put the bearings into the fridge.Just make sure u heat up the case to 100 celsius and bearing falls in.if is colder the bearing ll not fit.It works for me everytime.Also get some tool if the bearing get stuck in the beginning just gentle tick it out.

Good tips. I found it easier doing it my way but the risk of the bearing getting stuck in the beginning (as seen in the video) is much higher yes... :(

@@viktordenac2040 because u didnt heat up enough.one side i must reinstall it 2 times because it wasnt hot.
