This is one of my first large MAPs I participated in! I'm so glad I was a part of telling Spiderleg's story! Everyone did such a good job :)

Warrior cats animations are the best, even when I have no idea what’s going on because I have not read the books. Seriously, you guys are talented! This is amazing! But also, god that is really depressing. Poor guy. At least he is happy in starclan (think it’s called)

i remember seeing the original map call way back when, so i knew this was going to be good, but damn. this was incredible. it's amazing how warrior cats content can still make me feel something, even after all these years, and even with a character as insignificant (plot-wise) as spiderleg i especially like how lonely the entire atmosphere is in this map. there's no bustling clan around spiderleg. it's just him and his family, a family that he's learned to disconnect himself from in an attempt to protect himself from further suffering. the visual of their old tree-hollow den being cut down is an especially nice touch; even the painful memories turn to dust, as if none of it even mattered in the first place astounding work by all the arts involved. projects like these continue to remind me why i loved this fandom so much in the first place

First off I gotta say, bravo to everyone who participated in this MAP. I can’t remember the last time a MAP made me teary eyed like this. All parts were beautifully drawn and well-animated. I love it when the fandom takes characters like this who don’t get a whole lot of screen time in the books and develop them by piecing together little tidbits of their backstories. This portrayal of Spiderleg kind of reminds me of Crowfeather, as he too became far too enveloped in his grief and sadness to the point where he disassociated himself from his family. But the difference between Spiderleg and Crowfeather is that Crowfeather eventually saw the error of his ways and was able to fix things before it was too late. As sad as it is, Spiderleg died before he was ever truly able to make things right. As unsatisfactory as that ending was for him, I find it to be a realistic conclusion. Not all stories like this have a clean-cut happy ending. Sometimes, we don’t always have the chance to finish what we started, and we don’t always have the opportunity or time to fix what we broke. Once again, absolutely beautiful MAP!

THIS HURT. i wish he had this much development in the book. everyone did so awesomely with expressing his held back grief, i really hoped that they would’ve expanded on his losses in the books

Brb while I cry forever, this map was AMAZING! Ive always thought that spiderlegs character wasn't explored as much as it should have been (being a background character and all) so this was definitely a breath of fresh air.

I've never seen a MAP with such depth more than It's original creator. This is the only MAP where I can admit that I've cried like never before. Congratulations to all the participants who made this masterpiece. I've never understood Spiderleg's character and I've hated him for what he did to Daisy, Toadstep and Rosepetal, but now, I kind of understand that this was the kind of development that Spiderleg needed in the books. Grief is not a pretty thing, it never was, and I can totally relate to this version of him. Keep up the good work, Sadie. ❤

Seriously though I love this M.A.P I always saw Spiderleg as Daisys' immature and selfish mate, I completely forget there was a time when he truly did love her, not to mention one of the many important Spiderleg timelines was that his mom and brother(s) died.

Spiderleg deserved so much better.

I've come back after such a long time of abandoning Warrior Cats. I can't believe I've forgotten how lucky I was to be surrounded by such talented animators. These books and animations could make anyone cry, and it's insane.
