there was a great old school FPS called starsiege tribes. some clans made elaborate extensive mods which changed the game, adding loads of new armors- guns, turrets, and deployables. in the best mob, - biowasteland. a medium armor style called Goliath was a heavy munitions class with low mobility, but tons of ability to carry ordinance. I would use a grenade launcher, set to shoot land mines, grab an ammo pack for even more ammo and hit a zepplin pad to grab a parachute, then a launch pad to fly 300m in the air. from my elevated, height stabilized position, I would lay out a minefield spamming my launcher and the mine button. I was basically an explosive dog poop dropping hot air balloon. deployable floors could protect turrets so it was not uncommon to fly in high speed into an enemy base to get sniped by a floor.
