Chai and Raiden: Both have their theme play in the first boss. That boss being a big robot that the main villain team send at them.

I already liked Chai because you can tell he's insecure and hides it behind his admittedly undeserved bravado, but here is where he shows he truly does care about the people around him. Legitimately, when I first saw this scene, I had the biggest smile on my face. Just seeing him be real and reassuring to Peppermint like this was probably the best part to me.
