Funny you should mention the mindset of "real nursing" being hospitals, but it's really only tertiary hospitals that are viewed as real nursing. I was told on a rural placement by a nurse facilitator that the nursing out there, and the nursing I was doing, was NOT real nursing. I was so offended that they would dare to insinuate all those awesome rural nurses are not doing real nursing.

I know this was VERY informing and had great intentions on the epidemic. Unfortunately I was only able to watch about 9:41 into this before i had to stop- i feel very offended at how much they all laughed, how hard they laughed and how easily and cavalier they laughed at so many of her jokes and puns. Addiction is nothing to laugh about. Its horrific, life ending, painful and just heartbreaking. I am personally disgusted with how funny they thought so much of this was. This is sad. And I really hope they can learn to be more professional and sensitive in the future. She just laughs SO SO MUCH. Disgusting .
