Hey, how did you fit that exhaust? I want to buy a fake akra exhaust but it is 51mm with an adapter to 38mm but the pipe is 25mm... So which adapter did you use and maybe a link if you can find it
@etanneriii3 жыл бұрын
I'm from Michigan originally so i used 2 hose clamps and a sheet of exhaust tape and boom. You can get different sized exhaust clamps from your auto parts store most likely..
@jesseycoolen41693 жыл бұрын
So you used the exhaust tape around the end of the pipe and just putted the muffler on it?
@etanneriii3 жыл бұрын
@@jesseycoolen4169 i used the exhaust tape like duct tape around where the slip on exhaust and the stock exhaust pipe meet and i put a hose clamp on either side and let the heat do the rest. the exhaust does have its own mounting bracket keep it in place mostly. you could also get an after market full exhaust as well the K-Pipe uses one of most cloned engines on earth. If you live outside of California you should be able to get your local shade tree exhaust guru to bend a piece of pipe for you custom for cheap. Because i live here i wanted a slip on just in case i needed to go back to stock due to Regs. Ride well.

Its cheap, but good. available from other sellers as well. i did also remove the entire front headlight bracket permanently before i added the fender. www.amazon.com/Acerbis-Supermoto-Front-Fender-2040390001/dp/B000MQ6L0U

How did you mount the Front fender
@etanneriii3 жыл бұрын
When i removed the Original headlight i also removed the bracket that the stock headlight was mounted to. removing that bracket leaves two holes at the bottom of the the lower fork clamps. the dirt bike front fender i mounted with stove bolts through the two holes on the lower fork clamp. i did this years ago and i have had no issues with front fender.

stock is 55 mph. change the spark plug to the iridium, switch to synthetic oil, take off most of the plastics and change the battery to lithium i got it up to 70mph. Then i changed the gearing to 17 tooth front sprocket 45 tooth rear sprocket tops me out about 50mph-55mph currently but i get better acceleration for my commute.

For $2,749
@etanneriii4 жыл бұрын
@@liamkirk5258 if its used i would say dont spend more than two grand and carb is unnecessary even with a bigger bore and i did blow my engine up twice. i have an aftermarket exhaust but the bike has to be tuned right to keep it from shooting three inch flames. honestly if your gonna spend that much get something else unless your looking for something to experiment on. spend 3k on a more reliable bike. dont get me wrong i love my K pipe but i bought new for less than $2250. dont ask me how much ive spent on it since.

How did you change the oil?
@etanneriii4 жыл бұрын
Use a 17mm wrench on the drain plug on the bottom of the motor. Depending if your engine is still being broken in then may want to remove the right side clutch cover to remove the oil screen and clean it as well make sure you get a new crush washer for the drain plug and a new gasket for the clutch cover just in case. Let me know if you need more details.
@etanneriii4 жыл бұрын
And make sure you replace the oil you drained with a fresh quart of oil.

@etanneriii4 жыл бұрын
the carb on this bike is way simpler than others do not be afraid as i was. also get another throttle spring this made a big difference for me. the the carb on this bike does not have a bunch of parts like many just take out the the two brass idle and mixture screws and use a copper wire and carb cleaner to remove any gunk.
