Silly. It's just simple arpeggios of cowboy chords. The Allman Brothers Band has an entire repertoire of twin lead guitars that make this sound elementary.

Tull was my favorite band in high school school and into college. Saw the band three times and would have to say for my taste they were the best live show going and I saw a bunch of the great arena acts.
