That was real sweet. Perfect music for the vibe and occasion. Really nice family day. And gifts as well!

Hey Alex, You're a nice guy with an old soul....everyone likes you. You're young and at your age, many people come and go. As you age it'll become a blur. Everything takes time, and so does nurturing friendships and relationships. I'm looking for new friends too. Hit me up if you want, we'll have lots to talk about. BE well.

Great seeing you here again, Alex. Queens is great. I live in Forest Hills....a nice leafy neighborhood with history and transportation. Holler, back at me, I'll be glad to show you around the neighborhood. Be well.

Wishing you all the best Alex. You are such a lovely man and I'm so sorry your relationship with Falyn is over 😢 It's really hard but in time you will find someone who deserves you and is your lobster 🦞 (old friends callback). I look forward to seeing your future videos 😊❤

I'm so sorry about your relationship. She is so beautiful and you guys were cute together. You seemed to have lots of friends. Did they all disappear along with her? If so, that's sad. Stay positive! One thing about life everything can change tomorrow as nothing stays the same. It will get better.

Thanks for letting us know what is going on, Alex. It sounds very difficult if you lost both your girlfriend and your friends at the same time. I don't know what happened but that is rough. I am wondering if you have some old friends from other circles or some such that you can hang out with and talk to. Also your mom and family. It's good to make new friends, too. In the meantime, please be easy on yourself. Thanks for the update.

I am going through a breakup right now too and I feel almost like a kindred spirit with you/what you’re saying in this video. I tried so hard too and was trying to do everything right. Everyone watching your videos loves your attitude and energy and likewise people always describe me as a bright and happy person. We are the type of people others say “Don’t worry about it!” when we are insecure because we seem to have such a positive base mental state that they can’t accept our negative insecurities. But now my confidence is shaken and I feel that I don’t know anything. Reaching out to friends really helps. I got an old friend to reconnect me with another who I had a major falling out with and we are friends again now. We didn’t even talk about our argument we just accepted each other again. Say yes to new people even when you don’t want to go out. I don’t regret either but it’s hard to know “what mistakes I made” or “how I fucked up in the relationship.” I think sometimes the obvious answer/what they told you isn’t necessarily the right answer. It might actually be that you settled or didn’t stand up for yourself or were too giving. It might be that they just weren’t ready and put their problems on you. So keep improving … but as a kindred spirit I feel your pain, being one of those positive and looked-up-to people generally it just hurts when you don’t feel loved by someone really important to you. Putting myself first is so hard and not something I even really want to do but I have to learn. It IS all gonna work out!

It is good to see you back, Alex. It was sad to hear your relationship had ended, but you will learn from it and be better for it. I found this video to be very mature and hopeful. As a woman who is in her 70's, I know that life is never a straight line. We are always growing and changing, even those of us on the upper end of the age scale. If we do not learn and grow , then we are just stagnant. You have grown so much over the years and I hope you will continue to take life and learn from it, both its ups and downs. Beautiful video!

Thank you for your honesty. I can only imagine how strange/overwhelming it must feel to have people look to you for advice. People need to realize that people on KZbin don’t have all the answers and are human like everyone else. I’m sorry to hear your relationship didn’t work out but I’m especially sad to hear that you feel like you no longer have any friends. I really hope you are able reach out and rekindle your friendship with those people you used to hang out with because they seemed to really make you happy. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos as you explore life/the City but if you decide that making KZbin videos is not for you…we still wish you all the best!

Great to see you Alex. Sorry to hear about your relationship not working out. I remember those friends you used to hang out with in NY, can you get in touch with them? They were lovely and I'm sure they would still be your friends, one girl in particular but i can't remember her name, you used to hang out with her. Anyway wishing you all the best, Jane

What! How can someone not like you? 😊. You and your videos are so genuine. You seem to be a down to earth, good-hearted person. As a mom that watched and helped two sons go through the growing pains of life, I have a soft spot hearing of your ups and downs. Wish they could all be ups, but like you said - that’s how we develop wisdom. Glad to see you. Hope to see another post soon.

I think having three toilets and two showers per floor all in separate, contained rooms instead of a stall situation makes having communal baths much more comfortable. I watched another video before this where you showed the apt to another KZbinr and you mentioned the building has a cleaning service that cleans the communal toilets and showers every day. I’m assuming that’s part of the $1100 a month. I think the cleaning service also helps make sharing these facilities more comfortable … no arguing whose turn to clean which might happen in a traditional 2 or 3 bed 1 bath apartment roommate situation.

ALEX!!! I started watching your videos when my son was away living at dorm in brooklyn heights.. I loved your easy breezy manner immediately. now ...my son is graduated( in DEC) and living with me here in CT since then - he isn't working and he is 21 ( autistic) and wanting to go out on his own looking for a room to rent here in rural CT because even tho he loves my cooking living with MOM is a drag for him. ( I can't imagine why LOL) anyway ... i could go on but i prob shouldnt... i havent seen your vids in a while but i am really happy to see this one :D take care...
