And wow, at 3:52 the cameraman suddenly realizes Steve Hackett is in the room. Where did he think all of that fabulous noise was coming from?

I was lucky enough to meet the amazing Steve Hackett in October in Birmingham UK . Totally made my day to be in the presence of a musical legend ......played out in this video. A lovely man, very down to earth and was happy to pose for a photo with me.

2024 Non esiste più niente di simile. Triste avere un passato così prezioso e la nuova musica non ha più cuore, intelligenza e arte. Ormai viviamo di ricordi.

Ok, sorry, I am a huge prog rock fan, I love any musical innovation from mid 1960 to late 1970, (Zep, Floyd, Supertramp, Yes, PFM, Tull, ELP, Frampton, etc etc what I can think f tonight) but what the heck does this this song mean???? I love the Moody, Yes, early ELO, anything you can think of but someone please explain this....

it is a song about the destruction of england/uk by capitalists bastards "selling england by the pound" . Peter looks so sad singing this and poor phil and the others l, I dont think they understood this song apart form Steve Hackett

Typical! They never show Steve Hackett ripping the guitar to pieces, just Michael Rutherford playing rhythm guitar safely in the background.

Friends, do you ever have a moment where you're so familiar with a band but there's always one song that you've never heard? Is there a name for this, like a medical condition? This song is sublime.

No. But as a 29 years old who is obsessed with guitar and music, i find so many songs that my dad does not know from his favorite artists. Examples have been Jonny cash, this song for genesis, many bob dylan songs.
