I get some distinct 'hippy' vibes from this event, and i mean that as a compliment of course, the atmosphere of fun, creativity and togetherness looks very cool. A disgrace that they have added an enterance fee - just to enter the market. Especially for the locals who live in Visby, making the barrier for them to enjoy it very high.

If you ever find yourself in the Netherlands early August there's Castlefest on the grounds of Kasteel Keukenhof, which was built by a VOC member in 1641. It has a similar vibe I think :D No horses sadly, but we burn a wicker man on the saturday. This year it was a raven and we had Kai Uwe Faust from Heilung do the ceremony.

I had some chats with the Nightwing lady from 6:00. She was awesome, especially for a first timer. The batons could be placed on the back with magnets, and she was just very fun to talk to. Hope she's back next year. Great editing btw, it's always fun to see the cosplays I missed, and fun interactions between everyone, like the 2 Jesus fellas pointing at each other.

Oh wow! Thank you for such excellent work - I had a blast, and people seemed to really enjoy the convention. I was impressed by how well organized it was, and how everything just seemed to...work as it should. (Although I'm sure it was more chaotic behind the scenes, as always!) I also talked to some people who mentioned how Lvl Up is different (in a positive way) from other US cons!
