I'm starting to understand the reasoning of the "exterminationist" view; I wonder how others here feel about it. The Communist Party obviously deserves to go down. But who put them in such a powerful position in the first place? Who should be held responsible? I can’t think of an answer other than “the Chinese people.” After constantly facing backlash, losing contact with friends and family, clashing with classmates, and arguing with my own relatives, I’ve felt myself shifting from a moderate anti-establishment stance to something far more extreme. Could it be that the Chinese people, who helped the Party rise to power, are facing this as their own form of karma? I no longer feel like trying to “save” the pro-regime types. They’re like a herd of pigs, happy to keep you stuck in the pen with them. If you tell them they were once free, thinking people, they’ll gang up on you until you feel like there’s no escape. All I want to say is that telling them “this life isn’t right” does almost no good. The only thing that would make them reflect is if someone burned down this pigsty entirely. Maybe that’s just fate. From now on, I’ll dedicate myself to figuring out how to escape China and accelerate its collapse, to add my own effort to the cause. Onward.
