There were no gangs called the Peaky Blinders in Birmingham, the TV Series is a dream of a TV Producer. There were just rough neck pick pocket gangs in Birmingham at the time, try looking in Birmingham History books and Video's and you will find no mention of the peaky Blinders, as a Brummie I find the series a big stupid joke.

You have to replenish the sand on the beach by a few meters every year and repair storm surge damage to the dunes if you want to stop the erosion like we do here in The Netherlands. Sand is sucked up from the sea bed and shipped to the shore where it is sprayed with water on or just in front of the beaches. Search KZbin for "zandsuppletie".

Grandparents owned a chalet at the Sundowner club. I loved going to Hemsby every summer....until I then started going abroad each year with the family and realized Hemsby was actually quite trashy.
