You can go very far in the Cyclops. Just not fast. It overheats at high speeds and drains the power a lot, and also the noise attracts the big Leviathans who want to chew on it (and you). Silent running is for sneaking through enemy terrain, and also escaping while a decoy attracts the Leviathans. There are upgrades, of course.

ive been playing pvp games all my life, i would hate on pve being a thing until ive been playing it recently. I will admit that this has made me enjoy playing tarky again, regular tarky feels like someone is always watching you and now you can play it where although its pretty easy if you are experienced, it also has its challenging and crazy moments and its been fun. enjoyed the vid my guy

You can go to the lower levels of the mine by clicking on the display sign next to the mine shaft/cart once you acquire the mine card/pass. You have level -1 click on it and you could go there and explore; if memory serves well, you will find the mushroom in this level or lower down. You should find mine pass on each level. Keep on the good work.

II'm playing this on a PS5. I'm glitched out at @13:04. When I'm there the monster is there and the switch @15:38 is at the bottom instead of the top, I do it twice and the lights don't turn on, I hear the bell ring and the sound of lights turning on (but it doesn't), theres no dialogue or cutscenes just the monster camping your area. Once passed the monster I turn off the steam @17:44, go to the ladder @18:29 but it doesn't allow me to climb it. I can't even get close to it because theres an invisible wall blocking me. Also if I get killed by the monster the game puts me by wheel for the steam @17:44. I tried everything, I had to watch a few videos on YT and noticed your play-through & others, the monster isn't there, there is dialogue and a cut scene after you pull the switch, and you can climb the ladder. My game is totally bricked. I'm going to have to put it to the side for awhile and I refuse to watch the rest of the game on YT after where I'm stuck at (btw I have all this recorded).

I have to admit, every time you swam past the reactor breaches and went "Nope, not missing anything here" I laughed out loud. 😁🤣

On the plus side, you discovered that the game keeps you in the known map by sending you Ghost leviathans. That one was particularly aggressive, though. Yikes. There are other Ghost leviathans you'll encounter in due course, but they're typically not as large and grumpy.

So I recorded about 1 hour and 5 minutes of content then my screen froze and i couldn't get out of anything so had to reboot. This caused my mp4 recording to corrupt but I was able to fix it with another program. Not sure why the video stopped recording like 10-15 minutes before the screen actually froze, but here is what I got so far. Needless to say I wasn't to happy and haven't went back into the game to see when the last save was. Enjoy and Hope you all have a great day! When you build your base and then construct the "Unusual Doll" somewhere within the base, you'll be able to interact with a talking bobblehead and then you'll find out who it is, no spoilers from me. Oh wow, when you were eating all those spoiled fish, I was watching your water go down to 1%! If you'd eaten that last rotten hoverfish that would have been - not good.. Anyway the game has enough near death experiences. Oh man that was close! Lol!! There's lots of stuff to scan and find in the Aurora, like those Prawnsuits in the Prawnbay. There's also a Storage Module for your Seamoth in the Prawnbay but you'll need more fire extinguishers to get at it. So far those are the only things you've missed. Making great progress Captain Mike, got the diamonds for the lasercutter! Excellent! I don't mean to backseat game you but we need to talk... Umm, did you throw away your Seaglide because the battery was dead? You can just replace the battery in your devices like the Seaglide, lasercutter, flashlight, etc. When you made the lasercutter, you could have taken the dead battery out of your Seaglide and used that one. The game doesn't care if the battery is dead, it magically gets recharged when you fabricate a new item that requires a battery. Now that you've made the higher capacity airtank, you probably don't need to carry the extra ones, you're not using them anyway and they take-up a lot of space. When you start exploring some of the large wrecks, that's when you'll need the extra airtanks, but you've got the Seamoth now to refill your air. I'm loving your playthrough, take care.

Yeah, Lasercutter! I knew you'd find it eventually. Those towers in the red grass zones, they are an excellent source of sandstone and that's where you'll find the silver deposits that you need. Diamonds can be found deep, below 200 meters in Shale deposits. The Subnautica wiki told you about the caves on the "rocky" island (as opposed to the floating island) where you can get shale in the caves, that's where the Sunbeam rescue ship was going to land. The game takes the beacon away after the Sunbeam is destroyed so here's how to find it again- From the top of your lifepod, look at the Aurora and then scan the horizon to the left and you'll see a suspicious cloud. That is the "rocky island" that the wiki was referring to. You were actually right next to the island in this episode... So close! Lol I'm enjoying the journey, see you next time Captain Mike, bon voyage!

Doing great, making progress I see, staying hydrated lol... You should be able to find that last lasercutter fragment in the red grass areas. You can also find them inside those smaller wreck sites, like the one that's close to your lifepod by that volcano vent. Oh, one thing I have to mention is how lucky you are! You've came out of the Aurora wreckage in your Seamoth with your lights on and I thought that angry Reaper was going to grab you for sure. They hate the lights on your vehicle, and by "they" I mean all of them from the Stalkers and Sandsharks to the bigger, more lethal Leviathans. Loving your playthrough! I wish the episodes were longer but you can't have everything...😊

Hey Mike, lol, you were looking at the wrong location buddy. You confused the Aurora (your ship) rendezvous point with the Sunbeam (the rescue ship) landing site... You missed out on a lot, I'd even recommend watching a video where another player actually goes to the Sunbeam landing site just to see all that you missed. The game takes away the special beacon for the Sunbeam landing site after it's destroyed so you won't be able to find it now. Hint, look for any strange clouds on the horizon that might be hiding another island. And lastly, you can replace the battery in your Seaglide instead of making a whole new one. The game doesn't give you the prompt to replace the battery until the battery dies, so there's no way you could have known... Really enjoying your playthrough, stay hydrated!
