The steakhouse in my city adds Tabasco to their table side Caesar dressing - it adds a nice punch of vinegar and a little spice.

I am with you on the mint!. I also hate cucumbers, which Darlene puts in every 2nd salad. I typically just use recipies for inspiration anyway. Example: I live alone so I very rarely dress a salad until right before I eat each serving. But it is easy to adapt most Salad Lab recipes by making the dressing on the side.
