Dr. Cooper is one of the greatest benefactors to mankind. Read his original 1968 edition book "Aerobics". It contains simple instructions for a healthy, happy and wonderful life!

Is there anyone that sees this that has actually done Dr Cooper's prescribed running programme? Or swimming , cycling etc? I started doing it 12 weeks ago and am making good progress. I'm actually surprised how steady the progress has been! But I keep getting side-tracked by all the other running channel coaches saying how we need to be doing 80% of our training in zone 2! I've added some Z2 runs to my Cooper programme but it seems to take away from the programme rather than add any benefit! I'm now going back more strictly to the programme and will see how it goes, but it would be great to hear from others who have done it.

I think I would use a can of organic non-gmo tomatoes, pureed, V-8 is most likely loaded with pesticides and gmo tomatoes. A little organic grass fed cream instead of the canned milk.

There are so many different suggestions for breathing You can almost find opposing ideas on the same page! I feel like the centipede who has gotten out of step by counting his steps. I have a question about all these pretty straightforward and never extreme, exercises, can I breathe in and out always through my nose? Thank you.

Now there is a face I have not seen in a very long time. This is Mark Davis, Forrest Little John's student. Good to see you are doing well.

I’m trying to sort out the physiological mechanisms …. Wim Hoff Method demonstrates decreased inflammation with inducing temporary and transient respiratory alkalosis / HYPOcapnia and stimulates the Sympathetic nervous system. PARAsympathetic styles of breathing with a longer exhales also report decreasing inflammation by stimulating the Vegas nerve and produces a temporary transient respiratory acidosis HYPERcapnia state. If each method demonstrates a decrease in inflammation, what are the unique characteristics of each style producing a similar result after a period of regular practice. I would LOVE to see testing results during practice and say at 1, 2, 4, 9, and 12 hours as well as at 24 hours right before the next practice. Keep on breathing :)

What I don't understand is how this benefits your muscles in a different way from the standard focusing on simple repetitions, without taking time on the way down and on the way up?
