First, I'm not Methodist, but have been following what is going on in ?UMC, and what the result will be. I am an evangelical Christian, raised in a different large denomination. I was taught GRACE and the GOSPEL is our primary focus, Every word of God's word - the Bible - is God breathed and absolutely true. I was also taught Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. First your panel is very one sided. Second you talk almost totally about governing, your legislative bodies, POLITICS etc, etc - none of which has to do with being a Christ follower - ignores grace - God's grace, which doesn't include God giving the grace for you to change interpretation of "God's Word - total truth - God Breathed " about what is sin, the instructions he has given us for living. a moral life. All that is under God's authority and he has already written THE TRUTH, AND YOU CAN'T SPECULATE THAT HE WOULD CHANGE THAT IN TODAY'S WORLD. It seems you think your governance, your ideas, your interpretations, your REINTERPRETATION OF GOD'S TOTALLY WORD all over rides the authority of our Great and All Powerful , Sovereign.......... our EVERYTHING GOD. Revelation 22:18. 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. I've heard no scripture in your talking, nothing about God, grace, the gospel - I could go on and on. Appears to me you are fighting a battle to see who gets to "win", and along with that "win" keep the financial resources of your denomination. Your talk is all about your politics, your social view. That is not what Christianity is about - it's about God's grace, the Gospel, and spreading that word as commanded in the great commission. It seems Satan has used you to bring your secular issues to gain attention - instead of what our attention should be on - the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's almost unbelievable to you all speak. I feel sure John Wesley would not approve of your activity, your focus on secularism, no mention of the Gospel. You say you want to inclusive - but YOU ARE BEING EXCLUSIVE TO GOD, HIS TRUTH, HIS WORD, THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. Jesus wouldn't exclude anyone - but he wouldn't accept their sin - he would include them to TELL THEM HIS GOSPEL.

So happy to be in such good company in Oklahoma. We are beautiful like a rainbow!
