Granted the past 20 years or so were especially turmoltous, but still, there is no new era of peace and prosperity, fodlan was already in an age of peace and prosperity until like 20 years ago when sreng attacked faerghus, hyrm rebelled, the funny stabbings in faerghus and those who bust it down in the underground.

Again, I must point out that Blue Lions where you recruit everyone is pretty damn close to a golden ending. Not for Ed/Hubs, but for literally everyone else, and honestly, they're acceptable losses.
