Yes a handheld would be wonderful too. For now I am quite enjoying the RGB30 for that purpose. But in the future (if the desktop version works out well) I am interested in exploring a handheld version as well.

If you are asking if its possible to create a theme that displays a different bezel for each system as you scroll through ES - yes I think that would be possible.

I like the feel of it - it has a rounded back to it that I find really comfortable. I also like the stacked face button approach - feels a bit like an SNES layout to me.

Another option I have seen show up is a handle at the top of the seat. For something like that I would try to use an octopus style tripod (wrap it around the handle and have the phone holder hang down). And if the back of the seat is a hard plastic you could look at something like a suction cup mount (similar to what you might use in a car on a dashboard).

Thank you for checking this out Nick. I don't have experience with tweeters yet but I have heard for splitting a right or left channel signal to multiple speakers you would look into a crossover circuit. Hope that helps start research. I'll see if I can find any info to post back.

Thank you LMD! The quickest way to do that is to only scrape for video (as the theme will default to show images if it sees them in the scraped data). The other way I can think of would be to edit the theme file itself and hide the boxart and logo tags from displaying. I can walk you through how to do that on the forums if you want to post a reply there (its difficult to post code samples on youtube comments)

Thank you Bimo, have you tried turning off OMX Player in the other settings menu? OMX player doesn't yet support layering which is what CRT relies on to display the box art over the video.

There is a property for the video tag that can be set to display a screenshot if there is no video available (<showSnapshotNoVideo>false</showSnapshotNoVideo>). Setting that to true might do the trick. However I believe this pulls the same image as shown for the boxart - not sure if there is a way to change that unfortunately =(
