Obviously the right choice would be only Stone Cold Steve Austin. His popularity in the attitude era was unmatchable and he is the one who saved WWE all alone from getting bankrupt. Also Rick chose Austin in his interview not Shawn Michael and he said Shawn Michael was the best performer in the ring but Austin was the GOAT.

I still think Randy's probably the most talented WWE Superstar ever and John Cena's the biggest babyface. If heel were as loved as face, randy probably would've beat Cena in every aspect

People won't like to admit this but HHH is 100% correct. From a business standpoint WWE grew globally by leaps and bounds when Cena was the "guy." Austin, Rock, Angle, Lesnar, Goldberg all left, then you had the deaths of Guerrero and Benoit. WWE was scrambling to find the next face of the company and Cena worked his ass off to be it.

Love how not one comment says ric flair. This dude made sacrifice after sacrifice and people then decide the rock was better because ric wrestled old while rock was a full time wrestler for 4 years. Idgaf if ric has bad takes at times but put some respect on his name

My mom died on the same day Eddie did November 13th, but in 97' when I was 1. So I grew up watching wrestling and Eddie was one of my favorite wrestlers. I was always feeling down around that weekend because of memories, so I wanted to watch Monday Night Raw to cheer me up while I was missing my mom, only to see that my favorite wrestler at the time died, on the same day my mother died. That was a rough time as a kid.

May your mother rest in peace, she’s proud of you broski. That day was brutal, I remember the day after me and the kids on my block all wore black and had our own funeral for Eddie. Gone too soon. Him and your mother 🖤

The Rock never made 15 million in one year at WWE. Could've happened after a 3 year deal at 5 million a year but this is the rock proving he's no better than Hogan in terms of absolutely BSing people

He didn’t make 15 million from his salary. He made 15 million dollars from salary + MERCHANDISE + and other earnings. People also didn’t believe the Rock wanted to fight in PRIDE. Ken Shamrock confirmed the Rock was interested and asking Shamrock
