Actually a lot of these stories remind me of things thatve happened to me. No sleepy but someone asked me to take my feet off the furniture after telling me the enormous empty tank HAD a boa constrictor in it but it escaped and they didn’t know where it was. Same place had a dead muskrat nailed to the wall above the bed I shared with a couple band mates hoping all night I didn’t wake up with a boa constrictor too

BillieJoes story about playing jones beach reminds me of a show I played in Queens one time. It was the first time I’d played in NYC and by far the worst one in the end as we never got paid and a lot of other things went wrong as far as where we were staying etc. we were playing and being goofy I had sunglasses on so I couldn’t see much in the venue and there really wasn’t any lighting to speak of. We thought no one was watching us except this crazy Italian guy we knew that had come down from another town. He’d stripped down naked except a pyramid belt and was dancing around hut when the song ended we heard ppl clapping. Turned out they’d all backed way up by the bar afraid of the naked guy. A qonab told me that if a guy gets naked you don’t know what he’s gonna do and he could have anything. Have anything?! Where?! He no longer has any pockets LOL ended up sleeping at a thruway stop all packed into the van. anyway, it worked out well in the end bc we ended up being offered a place to stay anytime we were there and a record deal much better than what was supposedly gonna happen from some no show kid

The description of the audience having cleared out at Kobe’s beach bc tre lit his drumkit on fire reminds me of a show I played in queens at some terrible dive bar (& i love dives normally). There was no fire but we were playing and messing around having sunglasses on 😎 and there was this Italian guy that lived in Watertown who’d come down to see us play. He was running naked around in front of the stage and we all thought he was the only guy watching us so we were kinda entertained you know whatever 😂 but when the song ended i heard loud clapping from a bunch of people. Since we’d stopped playing I was able to remove my sunglasses so I could see and there were a bunch of ppl watching but they were way back off to the side of the bar. After our set, someone came up and told us they’d all moved back to get away from that guy bc “ if he’s running around butt baked you don’t know what he’s gonna do “ lol they were afraid 😱 😳 lol all I could think was what do you think he’s got a weapon or something? Where would he possibly have it hidden?! lol😂
