Yes, it has some funky notes so yes it might be from Assam region. Its a lovely oud oil profile with light funk levels. If compared with artisanal grade, it would be in a range like 15/20

I think its compared with perfumes. Most oils perform 4h max or around it. This is 90% of the oud oils. Few perform for just first 1h then become skin scent...

Amiri and Saif ul hind are 80% alike in my opinion. If you like Hindi Oud profile like this then Saif ul Hind is a great choice.

@ ok I was looking for an oil that is skunky but not in a bad way … an oil that smell like oud but not a strong oud and oud that smell like resin/ ginger or saffron.. a little bit earthy

@@scentexplorer it truly is an amazing scent when rose or musk are layered with baccarat rouge. I usually place the rose or musk Malaki on first, then a few sprays of baccarat rouge afterwards. I get complimented every time. I tried searching online after watching your video and cannot find it. Also recently I was gifted an electric Bakhoor burner and I don't have a clue on where to purchase online the actual bakhoor. Could you suggest a website that sells actual bakhoor from the Middle East? So many places online selling crazy overpriced bakhoor - even American cosmetics company called Huda sells an extremely overpriced bakhoor for the hair!! Unbelievable isn't it!! I kniw because I also just purchased a bakhoor hair comb to incorporate with my fragrance layering. Sorry this is a bit long, but would greatly appreciate a suggestion on where to purchase bakhoor online so that my home ( and hair !) can smell amazing as well. I have burned Kalimantan Oud wood so its dense, woody, very calming ,its like you are in a cloud of dark light dry Oud. Marking, I have heard for the first time. Sumatra are different but mostly dense, dark leathery floral mostly like a purple thick floral blanket to me. There might be different scent profiles for these. I will try to acquire a sample of Kalimantan and Sumatra Oud oils.
