Thanks for your comment. I started the layout because I spent so much time looking at Computer and TV screen. I wanted to do things with hands and eyes, like this layout and included painting figures.

Tyco used to sell a train and slotcar combined set. I reversed the polarity on one of the slots to get opposing traffic and had 4 cars running. Best would have been to combine US1 Trucking with trains....but that came out after I'd reached my teens so I never had a US1 set.

Thank you for your comments. Used a Canon power shooter on tripod at 8 viewing places as close up on ground level as possible and also GoPro on flatcar for train view. Also framing and screening as much as possible.

Like Hitchcock movies too. Try to close frame point of view, as in movies to keep audience from seeing the studio sound stage.

Nice job with the pit kits! I like painting them as well. Prolly have as much in paint as the kit purchase by the time I finish. The train cam is fantastic. The MARS light is trying to hypnotize me. lol. Great layout! Like a model that works. Take care thanks for posting.👍

Glad you enjoyed it! The train cam is the hardest part, hard to get timing for the train running and to see the car drivers pass by in view.

Excellent! Love the Caddy side stepping around the curves. Gotta admit, 4 gears really hang in there.👍👍👍 If those were pit kits, man, you did a nice job with them! Seeing the train with the cars is like icing on the cake.

Thank! Yes they are self assembled. The first 2 kits I got were for the parts for older cars so these are my first Deluxe pit kit builds.
