the courage of left-wing women Cavani and Alberti (screenplay) to open the back-box of the nazi-culture and to understand history a film that must be still understood and studied

I never saw this film but encountering this video made me remember reading a review of it when it was new, and being intrigued but repulsed by how it sounded.

Spannend, dass alle Orte so etwas friedfertiges und doch so bedrohliches an sich haben. Alles ist so "atmosphärisch"

This film is interesting, and all you said is true and well thought out, that is if you just watch the film, and not take into account the basis, the book which was the inspiration for this film. I have read it, and the ambiguity which has its place in the film and is not of that type that annoys me, an ambiguity that contributes to the beauty and art, that is vanishing if you read the book. There it is explained what kind of extraterrestrial is she, and why is she taking/hunting people (because on their planet, where extraterrestrials have a somewhat canine appearance and they appreciate human meat) and the method is far from what is shown in the film. But, I think that the book and the film can be looked at as separate things, the book is good, but the film is even better if one is not taking into consideration the sci-fi book which inspired the filmmaker. By the way, I like your channel, you have interesting videos and a new subscriber.

Ummmm yea it could what TF. What you only watch mainstream cinema? Unbelievable inane ignorance…..to declare with arrogance that somehow never again can great art just can’t happen anymore…..that for the next millennia no true art is possible…..cuz WHY EXACTLY? Grow TF UP. 🙄🤡

As a victim since 1947 now 80 of being poisoned by toxic mold, chemicals air food water beverages I actually not never medically treated but not abused until I lost my memory unable to read or write, lost my home and career 1984. 1995 I discovered okra would reverse much of the brain damage but required my relearning how to make a sentence, research without the help of doctors diet and lifestyle to control a disease that frankly if you don't get symptoms you get cancer. Surprised that so few victims fought for media publicity like I did and still are being medically abused. This film should have raised some awareness but frankly it did not.
