I bought the latest Dyson Solarcycle table lamp in 2019. And in 2020, the next generation Dyson Solarcycle Morph floor lamp. Both lamps are defective after 2 years. In my case I found out that only the power supply is defective. I have two neighbors who have the exact same problem with their Dyson lamps. The lamps switch themselves off again and again after 2 minutes! It is not possible to order a new power supply unit, we have been trying to order it from Dyson for over a year. It's been unavailable for over 1 year! You can't buy the power pack anywhere in Europe from England to Sweden to Spain! I just sent the power packs to Dyson for repairs, they wrote to me there: Our workshop informed us that we only received two power packs and not your entire Solarcycle table lamp. As part of the repair, we would like to exchange your table lamp for a new device, but for this it must be received in our workshop in advance. What use is a new lamp if the lamps have the same problem again in 2 years? What experiences have you had with your Dyson lamps?

I don’t recommend this light. I just got mine today, April 14, 2023, and not even a full day, it started turning off by itself. Yes, the sensor was disabled. Stay away from this $650 junk! You’ll regret it. It’s a common issue with this light!

I love this desk light for my home office. I can work odd hours and it is nice to have a perfect light source depending on time of day or night. It would be nice if the light could go up/down a bit, had a clip on desk option, and the USB-C charge port didn't rotate with the light pole.

Apple products aren’t overpriced. They’re expensive but they’re not overpriced. There is a difference.

Wow, I think you forgot to mention a few of this light’s coolest features. To name a few: Based on one’s location, the light mirrors early white light in the morning and progressively becomes more yellow towards evening, reducing blue light which disrupts sleep patterns. In other words, it’s basically designed to synch with the local position of the sun. This enhances one’s circadian rhythm. It has a proximity sensor which turns the light on as one approaches it and turns it off if one leaves the room. (Both of these functions can be activated or deactivated, depending on preference). It has a safety feature where, if desired, it will randomly turn itself on and off from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. if there’s no one home, so it appears that the house isn’t empty. It can also be turned on and off from the phone, and programmed to wake one up with gentle to greater intensity. If one has to work on something detailed or see something close up, a sensor will pinpoint the light automatically as one brings an object up to it. It has a lifecycle of 60 years because the mini-LED lights are cooled down with a small amount of water placed internally. I’m pretty sure no $10 light does a single one of these things nor has this exquisite level of design. Had to watch a few videos created by others, since I didn’t learn any of this from watching this. Well, it wasn’t a total waste of time watching this because apparently the plastic wrapped around the box bothers you. So I guess that’s one thing I didn’t know.

My eyesight is getting lower and I was wondering if that kind of lamp was worth it. You do not seem convinced at all... I guess I won't purchase it before I get more reviews by ordinary buyers.

Keep on making the great videos man! I hope you are still enjoying your lamp. Maybe you can make a video and talk about if you still use it, what are the pros, cons, and if you regret purchasing it?
