For those who don't know, that diamond is not from Marine, it's from the chest that Kanade put as an apology to Okayu at Okayu's house that stolen by Kanata, so yes that's basically Kanade's diamond lol

I would like to ask native English speakers about the answer of "Which is not the appropriate sentence to say to a person who is not feeling well?" , because I don't think asking "Are you sure?" is unappropriate. For me, it's seems like asking "Are you sure? Do you need help?".

Asking "Are you sure?" can give the impression that you don't believe that they're not feeling well so it could be considered rude. Taking it to the extreme, it would be like asking a person "Are you pretending to not feel well"

It’s inappropriate because “Are you sure?“ is a response to a claim or statement. The person would first have to tell you they’re okay for it to make sense; it doesn’t work as a general inquiry of a person’s wellbeing.

"Are you sure" is only appropriate if they already gave a response that did not sound right. e.g. the other person tells you "I'm okay" but seems unwell, then asking them "Are you sure (you're okay)?" after would make sense; you're asking whether their response aligns with what they actually feel. Asking "are you sure?" on its own, especially when the other person hasn't said anything, makes no sense.

I don't get the last question. I am ESL, but I think that all the options are possible. The second one is a bit off. It sounds weird, but... Is possible depending on the circumstances. At least I can imagine a situation when It might me okay to ask "Are you sure (that you are not feeling well)"

It is to assume that you are the one starting the conversation after seeing the person not feeling well. Are you sure? what is this person has to be sure about, what are they trying to confirm with no context.

As the guy above said, "Are you sure" would only work if it's a response to a question. In other words, you would never just walk up to someone and start the conversation with "Are you sure?", but you absolutely would do so with "What's wrong?" or "What's the matter?".

@karayura10 Ahhh! I see I see. Thanks. But the question they were asked was "what is the appropriate way to blah blah blah". And the correct answers are marked red. So this "are you sure" was the correct answer and when I overcomplicated it, it was passable and now it just doesn't make sense. Unless the translation is wrong. And it was something like "which is NOT the appropriate blahblahblah". Anyway. thanks for explanation!

@@DarchrowTheEnigma Until not too long ago (about a year and a half, maybe 2 years?), AZKi was still working a regular job alongside her vtubing and music activities. Her transfer to Hololive proper and subsequent channel growth probably led her to be able to quit and do this full time. I vaguely recall her mentioning learning formal/business-level English, probably for that former occupation.
