Same issue here. i thought i was the only one since no one has made a video about this besides this one. Three times this happened to me on a shoot and every time i had to quickly swap out for my backup small rig mics which work greaat just bulky. When the hollyland works they are great to have but man i cant take another chance with them. The only thing i'm going to have to do is just manually charge the receiver before every shoot and not close the case i guess.

I wish I saw your video in October 2023 when I bought the Hollyland LARK MAX wireless mics! That’s when I bought mine and I had the exact same issue! I got them from Vistek (Toronto location) but more importantly, the charging case wasn’t charging the receiver and they’d always die. Meanwhile, the transmitters were 100%! I ended up sending a support ticket to Hollyland, which turned into an RMA repair. Low and behold, what was actually replaced was the charging case! So weird, eh! 😅

I just did a shoot today and got the receiver out to see it was on 1%, at the exact moment everyone in the room is turning to me to see why I am not saying 'rolling'....... Luckily the heads record so I did that, but it's seriously not a great position to be in.... Thank you posting this video so I now know it's not just me and I can start looking at returns. Thanks!

Im having this issue as well with all three pieces being dead upon storing the case in the closed position. But not every time… and it seems to be okay if I leave it open. This is very frustrating for a $250 product. Anyone figure out a solution?

Odd, I recently bought this wireless mic, even updated the firmware, and I haven't seen this issue. The RX and TXs are always at 100% while my case still over 80% after a week of use. Perhaps a faulty equipment?

That's my third box (returned the two first ones), and still the same problem, mainly with the RX but also with some TX... Hollyland said it's not a batch problem, but it definitely seems it is ! Tried to update as well but nothing changed...

I bought these from a store, returned them, and they contacted their hollyland representative. I got a replacement from the camera store after they confirmed it was busted. This is why it’s important to buy locally from a camera store it was much easier to get them replaced than having to return them in the mail.

the case itself charges the receiver and mics. but you also have to charge the case, its like airpod chargers.
