I recognize a few names in this video. Steve Moneypenny still runs modifieds. Great track unless the Clarksville PD shows up.

I was only a little kid when Louisville speedway was open and when my dad was racing figure out there I was born in 93 but I had bad hearing and I had tubes in my ears so I couldn't be allowed around the really loud cars his name was David Green his number was 010 but he passed away in 2003 of lung cancer

The race that starts at 4:17 my Dad was in. The 014 Wayne Gutterman. He passed away 2 years ago and I’m so glad to find this video. So many good memories watching him race at Louisville Motor Speedway. Thank you so much for posting this.

I think it's Sportsdrome in Clarksville, Indiana. Pretty much right across the bridge from Louisville. I think they still run there 🤔

I used to travel over 100 miles almost every weekend to see the fantastic show here. Always a great show and sometimes the racing didn't end til 2 in the morning. The track went away when Kentucky Speedway was built, and then NASCAR abandoned that track. Just shows how much NASCAR sucks!

I was a child back when this was going on I was born in 93 but my dad raced figure 8 at Louisville speedway every weekend but I can only remember watching one of the races because I had tubes in my ears and it was too loud for me his name was David Green I remember when they had that stunt man from New York come down he used to get lifted up like 50 ft in the air and then dropped and he passed away at Louisville speedway my father and him were really close and I seen The Big show there like 3x in my father also built Kentucky speedway his name is on the track but he passed away in 2003 of lung cancer at the age of 43 the number on his car was 010

Wow that's crazy dose anyone think about the real potential of getting hurt out there old boy up front has some extremely large coconuts well played dawg
@Thatmotorsportfan18 Жыл бұрын
In outlaw figure 8 racing drivers barley get hurt and there going like 80+ through the intersection. It’s cus there so good at dodging so they don’t get hit, definitely takes more balls then nascar in my opinion
