I only just learned about that secret room for the first time upon playing the remake and seeing the crack after beating Gloomtail, and ive played through and 100%'d the game multiple times over the last like 20 years. Makes sense since it just has three consumable non unique items that arent tied to any form of completion and wouldnt even be revealed by fortune telling. Apparently, in the original gamecube version, the rewards in that secret room were a lot better

I remember thinking I was crazy as a child cause I used Miss Mouze in that room and she just acted like the wall was treasure. It never even occurred to me that the wall was bombable, so I came to the conclusion that they just kept the chest they use for the dried shroom in a later cutscene out of bounds

IRC impossible the IRON Cleft Arena battles are required enemies and NOTHING can damage them BESIDES Gulp from Yoshi not even the P Block ATTACK items can damage them AT all in fact NO attack item CAN.

goombella is far from useless, tattle still grants great SP regen on stylishes without having to worry about 0 damage penalties, and rally wink is still an extra mario turn. i’d argue she’s one of the more powerful partners, both in early and late game

When I did my first playthrough of this game recently, I completely forgot about the badge shop after I'm sure the game told me about it lol... I didn't revisit that shop until after I had beaten the game. I did the pit of 100 trials at the end of chapter 6 as well as beat prince mush after the pit. Then went to finish the game. Now there's the post game stuff but the new Zelda is out so, I'm playing that now lol.

There is one challenge you could do with Ms. Mowz that would make her useful: no shopping at stores. You can only use items and badges that come from blocks, chests, and battles. You can use Kiss Thief to take them away from enemies directly. And before someone says Item Hog, no, it does not guarantee any items and badges held by enemies in battle will be dropped afterwards.

Mrs Mowz would be a great team member... if you got her earlier. Like, WAY earlier. In chapter 2 or 3. Mostly because of stealing badges. That's her real gimmick, but by the time you get it it's usually so late game that you've passed over half the badges you'll ever see. The remake really blew their chance to make her recruitable as early as chapter 3 (after you met her in the pit). Taking the mission from the help desk could simply open the wall rather than require a bomb, then you already have Flurry so everything lines up. It would go a long way to having her be reasonable.
