1977 was the only year for the gold stripe in the optional bodyside molding trim. Also 1977 was the first year for optional power windows, power door locks, & inside hood release. In 1981 when the nose on the front, emblems, optional bodyside molding trim, interior, & fleetside tailgate were redesigned, outside hood release was dropped & inside hood release became standard. Not to forget 1978 was the last year for the round shaped gas hole & exposed gas cap. 1979 was the first year for the gas filler door & smaller size gas cap inside.
