The last part is meant to be a joke about the poor, lackluster performance of the man who was sleeping with Vanity. He wasn't able to satisfy her sexually. React to their songs Sex Shooter please.

The song is about "Feter Fechter" the first person shot to dead for crossing the Berlin Wall during the Cold War. It's about remembrance and a fight for freedom.

Great reaction~ Longtime fan of Jackie's. I hope you listen to more. She is genre-defying. This is a bit more traditional blues than usual for her. I'd say she is generally Texas Blues/rock with a hint of reggae/funk. She is an impressive artist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

On Sunday 30th January 1972 after much trouble between Ireland and Britain and a lot of provocation from IRA soldiers British troops went into a city in Northern Ireland called Derry and killed a lot of innocent unarmed Irish civilians. The event became known as Bloody Sunday

Nice! "Send in the Clowns" was a top-forty hit for Judy Collins in 1975. I remember hearing it on the "easy listening" radio station my parents listened to. Stephen Sondheim wrote the song for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, which is a literal English translation of "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" the German title of famous Mozart serenade. When you're ready for more from Judy Collins also check out "Amazing Grace", "Someday Soon", "In My Life", "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?", and "Chelsea Morning". But for something different from her, and fun instead of sad, check out the clip of her on The Muppet Show in 1977 singing "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly".

Throughout the song she uses theater references to talk about the failures and regrets of her life. “Sending in the clowns” relates to bringing on the jokes to save a show which isn't going well.

Oooh! Money laundering! Did you notice the sadness in the woman's face at the very end? I've seen Scarface well over a dozen times since it was new in 1983. I might have even seen it in the theater when it was new but that was so long ago I don't remember. I enjoyed the film. The film is iconic, so yes you should watch it. But too often, it seems, the film gets taken as a celebration of criminality rather than a condemnation of it.

Hi, this is Daniel. It’s clear that the video doesn’t make sense to you because you don’t know the context. For someone familiar with Doctor Who, it’s more than understandable. Some of those creatures are the Doctor’s enemies, while others are his friends. As for the speech, it’s part of an episode where the Doctor is trying to stop his enemies by reminding them how he has defeated them in the past. The Doctor doesn’t fight with weapons but with his mind, cleverness, science, and technology. How to describe Doctor Who without giving too much away? It’s aliens, monsters, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, Weeping Angels, Daleks, and a sonic screwdriver. And it’s about endless adventure, fear, friendship, compassion, bravery, humor, and sadness. That’s Doctor Who. I can’t say more, or you’ll miss out on the joy of discovery. You should start with the 9th Doctor, played by Christopher Eccleston. The first episode is called “Rose.” If you’re curious, give it a try-watch at least the first season, which has 13 episodes. I think that if you do, you’ll keep going. And reaction videos of you watching would be amazing. Take care!

I really don't think it matters if you give anything away, you're asking a lot to expect Faye to watch a British Sci-fi show she's never heard of before. Anyway, why start with the reboot? Why not the original 1963 show? There's no way she could watch that video and have a single clue what it was about.

@@normandavidtidiman9918 As much as I hate to say this but, I agree that in 2024 it makes more sense to steer a newbie on to the reboot with Number 9. The 1963 series (the whole series, actually) is fantastic but the lean production values and the rather campy first outings of the Doctor may not connect as well with new viewers. If they love Eccleston and make it through to Ncuti Gatwa...they probably will want to see were it all started back on those dark days of November 1963 ( John F. Kennedy was assassinated on the day before the premiere).

@@normandavidtidiman9918 Of course, you could start watching from the very beginning, but the first episodes are really too outdated by today’s standards. The quality of the recordings is very poor, and some episodes have not survived-they exist only as audio recordings supplemented with photographs. Starting with the 9th Doctor is perfectly fine; it allows you to get to know the Doctor as a character, and Eccleston marks the beginning of the show's truly best era. If Fay becomes a fan, she can always go back and watch the original series from 1963 later on. As for whether Fay will watch it? Well, that’s entirely up to her. Even I had the show recommended to me, and starting to watch Doctor Who was one of the best decisions of my life. I can’t imagine my world without Doctor Who.

Their song Saturday Gigs is a biographical song that’s really good. And I Wish I Was Your Mother is a slower one I think you would enjoy. They as a band and Ian Hunter solo have a ton of great music. They always had a fan base but weren’t having commercial success and David Bowie who was a fan and heard they were breaking up. He offered them his song Suffragette City. They didn’t feel it was right for them. So he on the spot wrote All The Young Dudes and they loved it and finally had a hit prolonging the band a few more years. That’s also where they met Mick Robson, Bowie’s guitarist in which he and Ian had a long collaborative career until he died. Ian’s first solo album has a song called Boy which is a dedication to David.
