@mattiassmedsgaard494 Hasn't been with them for nearly 2 years now and nothings been said. Definitely missing him on backing vocals as that microphone on stage wasn't used once.

His singing sounds great! Why is everyone on this trend, trashing him? Can you do better. Y’all are a bunch of “Swifties”… sad!
@ChambazFilmMusicComposer3 ай бұрын
Do you remember the DT passionate search for a new drummer on YT? It was so demanding and ruthless! Every video, discussion-absolutely everything-had to be flawless, because fans expect nothing less than perfection, which DT is known for. But when I listen to James now, I have to admit, it just doesn’t fit anymore. This isn’t about blaming anyone; it’s simply a fact that the material is incredibly demanding to sing. And when the voice goes, it goes. Some tough decisions need to be made… I had to see them in Zurich in November but in this conditions, I won't...

Honestly the setlist is somewhat disappointing. No real surprises, nothing exciting from MM era, and left many of their most deep and epic songs such as Learning to Live, Scarred, A Change of Seasons, Lines in the Sand, Beyond this Life, Tne Glass Prison, the Great Debate, Six Degrees, This Dying Soul, Honor Thy Father, In the Presence of Enemies, Shattered Fortress .. and no instrumental trademarks such as The Dance of Eternity, Erotomania or even Ytse Jam to mark their 40th anniversary.

the setlist was full of hits, if they took any out someone else would complain. Also, they played Stream of Consciousness

Imagining going to a 5 star Michelin restaurant only to discover some hairs in your meal. That's DT with James on vocals. He needs to let someone else take the helm. Anything else is selfish at this stage.

Labrie is not bad.
@GLENLYNAS3 ай бұрын
Sounds absolutely brilliant.......until Labrie sings....then its unbearable. If you notice, there are hardly any backing vocals, because John and Mike can not sing their worked out harmony parts because James is so far out pitch wise
@marcgrupposo99573 ай бұрын
All they need to do is drop down the key and implement autotune on the vocals. That would solve everything immediately. They use it in the studio. They should be able to do it live.

Question! I was there that night but was at the top. How was the sound at the bottom? The guitars seemed a bit low, especially Richard's.
@LuKeObR233 ай бұрын
@mattakerfeldt285 I would probably agree but still sounded good. Obviously being down the front the drums tend to bleed through more than anything else but could still hear everything else clear enough.
