It's one of their biggest hits. No reason to drop it from the repertoire. Half the people at the concert probably don't even know that it's a different guy singing the lead, and the people who know the whole ORB history are probably fans of Duane.

Posting 2-20-23. I'll be back for WAY, WAY more, you better know it! I remember buying the studio version on 11-23-77 (Thanksgiving Eve) and played it several times in a row, I loved it that much!

Been working on this one myself. I do it real slow almost like Delia with the step down. This is great but I still like the way of the original.

OS: I was wondering if there was anything else you'd like to do in your life before you're done. Johnny Winter: Oh, I'd like to get in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, that would be nice. And I'd like to win a Grammy on my own.

He was the Texas Tornado on guitar , there will never be another talent like him. Read his book "Raisin Cain" .. its a great read with lots of good info.

I discovered his music by happenstance when I heard the song "The Judgment" at the end of a short independent revenge film. I went to the credits immediately to find out who this mysterious buried treasure was & found his songs here on KZbin. I love his sound & was disheartened to find out he'd passed away a few years earlier.😔 Someone overlooked this 💎 gem, because I can't believe I'd never heard of him sooner! All I can say is he deserves to be revered like country music's classic artists. Like Hank Sr., Jennings, Haggard, & Coe!🖤 Rest easy Robert Earl Reed & Thanks for picking up the guitar! I'll be listening 🎶 for years to come. ⁰

Cool tune! Shows that music doesn't need electric, fancy effects or else. Just a guitar and a talented picker

I lived in Nashville in 2006, and was friends with a guy that was in a band. The name of their band......One Mile South. It's been so long ago, that I don't even remember the guys name right now. haha The original album was on the Rowhouse Record and MoMo Music label....put out in 2005. www.discogs.com/One-Mile-South-One-Mile-South/release/8021658 It was later re-released as a self published work on Amazon thru CD Baby....you can still buy it there. AND they have a channel on KZbin kzbin.info/door/F9e_yetyhs1nVOFpFc63Jg You can listen to all the tracks there. There are some real hidden gems on that album. I'm partial to Beyond Goodbye, and Just Don't Take Your Time....but there are a lot of good, underappreciated songs on that album. Not trying to stir up any trouble....just saw the band name and it brought back memories. Heck of a coincidence that two bands came up with the same name a few years apart.
