What I want to say is: Random velocity in the piano roll editor is a feature that I personally implemented in Studio One 7 years ago ;-)

I usually use Camtasia, but recording the ASIO output is not a requirement of the software, you have to route it with the help of your audio interface. I do this with my RME interface and a loopback routing in TotalMix.

@@studioonetutorials It depends how you see it. For me it was a bug since moving notes with the mouse stayed in key but with arrows no. Also, I hope Presonus will let users to hear more than one note when using the listen tool. Right now, you can't listen a chord with the listen tool.

Yes, sounds like there's something wrong with your settings. You can check in the Keyboard Shortcuts window and see which command is assign to Ctrl+Shift+V on your system.

@@studioonetutorials My problem is not the shortcut key setting. I think the same note will automatically merge into one, but I don't know where to set it. If you copy and paste the notes in the same position, they will automatically become one note instead of two. Where can I change this setting? Please help me ask. Thank you

Yes it does, as long as "Snap to Scale" is on.

I think it means you will get updates until then. After you keep the license as is after the last update 😊

you will still be able to use Studio One Pro 7 without any restrictions even after that given date. Its just that that date, you will not get any updates for free anymore and you will have to buy an update plan for another year again if you wanna stay on the latest software.

it's funny you have this question, must be from updating today, because i just had the same question. I'm just hoping that Presonus didn't accidentally set my account to subscription instead of perpetual and that the "valid until..." just means updates, because I would be very mad if, the day after I'm no longer "valid", my S1 just stopped working

@@michaelbytner9346 - It's really not. Previously, when you had, for example, v4.0, after a couple of years v5 was released. V4 does not get v5 features. This is the exact same thing. You could still use v4 for as long as your operating system will support it, but it would no longer update. What we have with v7 is no different at all. It is just that it happens in 1 year instead of two, and you get more features added in that 1 year than you would have over 2 years. Of course, if future updates after the valid from date do not entice you to upgrade, that's fine. You can carry on using what you have. Then, when you do see something you want, you can upgrade. Again, this is nothing new.

You can use it in many different ways, for automation, for events in the arrangement, you can move or copy notes to other tracks without getting out of sync...
